The House

Set within nine acres of Cotswold meadow and walled garden, Ashford House is a seventeenth-century manor rewritten with a contemporary hand. Honeyed local stone meets long panes of glass; the fields are never more than a glance away.
Inside, rooms are quiet and unhurried — lime plaster, oak, linen, and light that moves through the day. There are eleven rooms only, so mornings are slow and the house never feels full.
What follows is entirely yours to shape: a walk before breakfast, an afternoon without plans, dinner drawn from the kitchen garden a few steps from the table.

A single table, set twice a day.
Dinner is one menu, written each morning from the walled garden and a handful of farms within the valley. Five courses, no choices, served from seven.
Breakfast is unhurried and largely wordless — bread from the range, eggs from the orchard, coffee brought to wherever you have settled.
